Salt-bush sp (Atriplex humilis)

£10.00

A silver-leaved shrub, originating from Asia and N. Africa. Its ultimate height is approximately 2m, and of a similar width. It produces a salty flavoured leaf, which as long as the plant keeps producing fresh leaves for harvesting, can be eaten from March to October. Highly nutritious, and full of trace minerals, it features highly on my Forest Garden salad menu.
