Almond: Ingrid (Prunus Dulcis)
£32.00
This is a cross, almond x peach which produces a sweet very strong flavoured kernel harvesting in September. It is the most reliable of the selected Almond varieties. The nut hulls are pale green and velvet in texture, which peel back in the autumn sun to reveal the shell of the nut. Striking light pink blossom at the end of winter signalling the arrival of spring, reasonable peach leaf curl resistance. I have noted that some of the younger leaves can get peach leaf curl but the tree seems to grow out of it, and the fruit is not affected at all
