A Cornish heritage apple variety, found on a farm near Callington where it was described as “the best cider apple”. Medium sized fruit, pale yellow with pink/red flush and broken darker stripes; sweet/ subacid and cider like although not noticeably bitter. It can be used for other purposes. Mid-season harvest. Very late flowering, modest growing rate.
