What’s looking good in the garden

Smooth skinned Kiwi’s, Sichuan pepper, small leaf lime, Japanese wineberries amongst many species are all flowering well and enjoying the sunshine.

Italian Alder

Very good for supporting your climbing plants, capable of growing up to 1.2 meters a season, works as an excellent shelter belt tree too. This tree is really useful for generating nitrogen and with the co-operation of localised fungi move and make available this nitrogen to other plants up to a 50 meter radius.

Small leaf lime

Leaves still being eaten as the medicinal flowers are just out in full bloom.
