Introductory course on forest gardening and food forests

This year we have decided to run a half day introductory course on forest gardening and food forests for those interested in the subject, but are unsure whether they would like to commit to the full 2 day course.

It is a mainly practical event outside in the 13 year old demonstration forest garden at Falmouth where various useful plants will be featured and their uses discussed within the construction of the forest garden. The key point is you will be able to sense how a forest garden looks and feels and note how the various species are spaced and located in relation to each other.

Any information gained will be invaluable for the main 2 day course available, should you wish to pursue it.

Course dates: Saturdays 25th June and 10th September 2022

Course time: 10.30 to 15:00

Course fees: £35.00

Lunch: Bring a packed lunch and drinks to suit your needs.

Bring suitable clothing for the day and footwear to suit.

Pen and notebook are essential. I discourage notes from being taken digitally as for most it is a slower process than they think.

Please arrive at the Forest Garden Falmouth by 10.20 for registration.

Directions: There is a map on the website or I can send your directions by email, upon request?
